Mail-order pharmacies shown to provide strong results
Individuals who buy Lipitor from Canadian internet pharmacies may experience greater improvements in their cholesterol levels than those who go to their local brick-and-mortar pharmacies.
Individuals who buy Lipitor from Canadian internet pharmacies may experience greater improvements in their cholesterol levels than those who go to their local brick-and-mortar pharmacies. A new study has found that statin medication patients using online mail-order pharmacies have better treatment outcomes. The findings add evidence that mail-order pharmacies are a useful tool in treating health problems. Previous investigations have shown that patients who get their drugs from these options have higher rates of medial adherence. During the course of the two-year study, researchers found that 85 percent of patients obtaining their medications from mail-order options achieved their target cholesterol levels, compared to 74 percent of those who got their prescriptions from physical pharmacies. Results such as these add more credence to the notion that online pharmacies can provide a high level of service. In addition to delivering strong treatment results, Canadian internet pharmacies tend to offer lower prices, which may help many people afford their medications, a factor that plays an important role in whether or not a person sticks to their prescribed treatment plan. |
